About the competition

In principle our goal is to engage young people in thinking about the future. Understanding the views of all audiences for utilities and broader societal services is essential in thinking about and planning future direction and investments.

This initiative is being delivered in collaboration with Reece Group and ESH Group.

Reece Group are a reputable advanced engineering company based in the North East who invest heavily in future STEM skills and are keen to support youth engagement in STEM (Science Technology Engineering Maths).

ESH Group are a substantial construction company with plans to develop forward thinking properties designed to meet the needs of contemporary communities.

The stakeholders are keen to understand young peoples perspective on future property requirements and this initiative is seen as a means to understand viewpoints and perspective.

Simply complete the idea form and submit your idea as either a PDF image and notes or attach a Roomle file with a description of your concept.

Roomle is an easy to use simple BIM (design layout software tool).  You can design room structures and add, edit and even create new items with a range of features.  The software is free to use for the purposes required for the competition.

The competition runs from the 11th July to the 28th July with judging the following week.  The competition will be judged by the key stakeholders.
